The internet is full of web sites that give you advice on a wide range of topics, and it’s sometimes difficult and time consuming to find those which are the leaders in particular areas.

Here I’ve collated links to the sites which I find useful and would encourage others interested in the topics to look at. This is a very select list and not intended to include every possible site in each area.

NOTE: I will not engage in “link exchanges” of any kind. I will link to sites I find useful regardless of whether they will link back to me (and in most cases I don’t expect them to link to a personal site like this).

Broadband	thinkbroadband.com (www.thinkbroadband.com) This site offers information about a range of broadband services available in the UK as well as reviews of hardware. It also features up to date news on developments in the industry. This is a site I run so I’m slightly biased – formerly ADSLguide.org.uk
Photography	dpreview.com (www.dpreview.com) A very useful website which reviews a wide variety of digital cameras on the market. They also have previews before cameras are released and seem very honest in general.
Law	OUT-LAW (www.out-law.com) This is a blog/news site covering advice and topical issues relating to law, particularly in relation to IT and Internet.
